I mean going off of what you said, you already paid for the character by using your own time and effort to create the artwork in exchange for the ownership. Considering the artist knew this ahead of time and even FAV'd the payment (art) for the character, I'd say yo're golden. Thinking otherwise seems off to me.
ANYWAY this character is adorable!!

Though I'm not sure why they compltley ignored me and refused to say if they accepted the payment or not, even when I directly asked as such, several times. Even now that just seems really weird to me

Hey, this looks really cool! The textures are excellent. Is this digital or traditional? I'm having a tough time telling for some reason. There are areas that look traditionally-done, while other parts appear digital to me, heh. Fantastic work either way!

Its traditional, but I kinda went ham on it with paint markers to make it look shiny.
